UPSC Releases its Revised Annual Calendar 2020

Hey Folks,

Hope you all are doing fine in these times of the lockdown amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

So, finally some good news has come up for the UPSC aspirants all over the country who were eagerly awaiting for UPSC to announce the dates for the conduct UPSC CSE PRELIMINARY Examination 2020. UPSC has finally come up with dates for both the Prelims and Mains Exams and all other exams conducted by the body.

As per its previous release, the UPSC Committee Members held meeting today regarding the finalization of exam dates. As per the Revised Annual Calendar for 2020, The UPSC CSE Preliminary Examination is set to be conducted on 4th October 2020. The Mains exam will be conducted from 8th January 2021.

Precisely, the Personality Test for Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2019 for the remaining candidates will be resumed from 20th July 2020. Candidates will be informed individually regarding the same.

However, the UPSC had also clarified that the dates of notification, commencement and duration of Examinations/ RTs are liable to alteration, if the circumstances so warrant.

These announcements must have been like a sigh of relief for the UPSC aspirants who had clouds of doubts regarding the conduct of the examination earlier. Nevertheless, the new dates in place the aspirants will start afresh and get back to their study tables in order to try and grab those coveted seats.
