UPSC Prelims 2019 Notification is out for Vacancies in IAS and IFoS

UPSC Civil Services (IAS) & IFoS Prelims 2019 Notification & Online Registration:
Registration for UPSC Prelims 2019 for IAS & IFoS has started and is live on the official website of the Commission 896 posts to be occupied through Civil Services Exam 2019, while Indian Forest Service Exam 2019 will occupy 90 Posts, making it total 986 posts available for recruitment.

Notification for UPSC Civil Services (IAS) & IFoS Prelims 2019 is out on Union Public Service Commission’s website. Aspirants who have been waiting fervently for the notification can apply now for the post by visiting the official website of UPSC, which is  Reportedly 986 posts will be available for recruitment this year, 896 posts to be occupied through Civil Services Exam 2019, while Indian Forest Service Exam 2019 will occupy 90 Posts.

The registration for UPSC Civil Services (IAS) & IFoS Prelims 2019 via online has started on the UPSC’s official website. Aspirants can up to 18 February 2019 for these posts.

Rs.100/- is the fee that the aspirants are required to pay using net banking facility of State Bank of India or by depositing the money in any branch of SBI by cash or by using any Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card. Same as every year, candidates who are from reserved category are exempted from the payment of Fee.

As stated in the official notification, both the exams will be conducted on same day by the union public service commission that is on the union public service commission.   • Educational Qualification: The aspirant must have a degree from an acknowledged University.
  • 21- 32 years is age limit for aspirant of general category. As per the govt. norms age relaxation is there for reserved category.

UPSC Civil Services (IAS) & IFoS Prelims 2019 Exam Pattern
There are 3 successive stages for Civil Services Examination, viz. Prelims or Civil Services Preliminary Examination, conducted to select the candidates for the Main Examination (Questions asked: Objective Type), then comes the Mains or the Civil Services (Main) Examination, where candidates are selected for Interview (Questions Asked: Subjective Type). The last phase is Interview, where you will be assessed by a panel of Interviewers.

All those who will qualify the preliminary exam will be able to appear in the main exam which will be conducted later this year. After the mains, qualified candidates will have to appear for interview followed by document verification of the qualified candidate.

Aspirants who will get through the UPSC prelims exam will be eligible to appear foe UPSC mains exam. The mains exam is set to be conducted later this year. All those candidates who will get thorough mains will be able to appear for the last phase, which is interview. Reportedly, the UPSC Civil Services Main Exam 2019 will be conducted on 20 September 2019 and UPSC IFoS Mains Exam 2019 will be held on 1 December 2019. 

In previous year, the notification for Civil Services Exams was out on February 7th 2018, where 782 posts were vacant for various govt. departments, from which 32 posts were reserved for candidates who come under the Disability Category.
